IPCC: Down But Not Out

Exposing the lies of the IPCC and the  global warming scam has already been accomplished.  But what this commenter on WUWT pointed out is that there is an untold wealth in continuing the global warming scheme and it will take a political will such as what has happened in Australia to stop it.  This is what needs to happen here in Ontario.  We need a political party with will and integrity to halt this destruction of our province.  If such a thing even exists.  Here is a piece of that comment:

Do not fool yourselves that by deconstructing the SPM here or in ‘friendly’ media that the politicians or their bureaucracies will stop.  The only thing that will grudgingly stop them is if as in Australia the politicians are voted out and those taking power take immediate action to curtail the bureaucracies that have been built.  This will NOT be possible in the EU there is no mechanism to remove or stop the bureaucrats pushing carbon limits and carbon emissions taxes and trading.  There will be great difficulty in the USA even with a landslide to Republicans in stopping the EPA killing industry and power generation by regulation. Behind both the EU and USA regulatory activities are a large number of financial institutions hoping to make fortunes salami slicing ‘their share’ of carbon tax monies and running their operation who are promising untold riches to politicians and bureaucrats,  These are supporting questionable ‘green energy’ schemes and subsidies that worldwide run into trillions of dollars of laundering schemes to political ‘supporters’.

Does anyone really think that this will be stopped by saying – but you said previously climate metrics over 10 years was good enough?

WLWAG: Wind Battle Year in Review

YER  DSCN0988

WLWAG Year in Review.   This year has presented many  difficulties and at times disappointments for wind action groups around Ontario but Wednesday night was definitely a bright moment for the West Lincoln Wind Action Group.
DSCN0982
Speakers, community members and WLWAG came to together at the Wellandport Community Hall to be updated on the status of the battle against the NRWC and the IPC projects.   Neil Schwitzer, chairperson of the event gave an informative overview of the status. Updates were also provided by the  leaders of  sub-committees and wind actions (health, environment, legal actions, appeals, communications, finances, fundraising etc.) as well as an update from our allied friends at “STOP” and “Mothers Against Turbines.”  A special thanks to Tricia Vaughn  who recognised a need for this  information update for the community and Deb Murphy who encouraged us all to spread the information.
Ed and Ann Fairfield relayed to the audience their own battle with the IPC and what their next step would be.  As always finances would be an issue and requested help with this.  They reminded us that this was really a community battle.

Coming all the way from Goderich, Shawn Drennan was the  special speaker for the event.  He updated us on the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms  battle against the GEA and its legislation and urged us all to “Unite the Fight”.  He stressed that we really needed to pool our resources and focus and that if he and his lawyer Julian Falconer were successful with their court case then it would have wide ranging implications for all wind projects and its victims across Ontario.

David Suzuki Drives Me Crazy

Miranda Devine •The Daily Telegraph •September 25, 2013 12:00AM

And here I thought Australia loved David Suzuki.

A piece of footage doing the rounds of social media this week shows a young Suzuki in 1972 describing humans as “maggots” that “defecate all over the environment”.

Nothing much has changed. Asked if he still wanted to jail politicians for “denying what you call the science of climate change”, Suzuki said: “You bet … it is a crime against future generations and there ought to be a legal position of intergenerational crime and I think there is criminal negligence.”

What about reckless endangerment of the economy with fairy stories. Is that a crime?

AAAWwwwwww. Maybe its just a bad week for saint Suzuki. For more on this love fest read here:

The Climate-Change Circus

By Rupert Darwall National Post September 22, 2013 4:00 AM

gaia cult

This article about the corrupted IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) says it like it is. The church of global warming, its high priests and deluded followers have a small technical problem. Global warming……It’s been on holidays for fifteen years. Ooooooppppps.

Their function is to serve as canonical texts for global-warming orthodoxy, providing an updated climate-change catechism for its followers. Writing in the Times of London last week, the current chief scientific adviser to the British government and his three predecessors stated that the IPCC will present “even greater confidence” that the climate is warming as a result of human activities. Only, as the rest of the world knows, observed temperatures haven’t risen for at least a decade and a half.

Quebec Liberal Headquarters Raided By Anti-corruption Unit

The Canadian Press Posted: Sep 17, 2013 6:44 AM ET|

Wellllll. Liberal offices raided by anti-corruption unit hey? When this UPAC unit finishes cleaning up the corruption mess in Quebec, I wonder if they would mind having a little look-see over here in Ontario.

More than 100 people have been arrested on corruption-related charges since the Quebec scandals erupted several years ago, including figures from municipal politics and the construction industry.

A number of those arrests have been preceded by raids.

The tide is rising on climate models and policies

Terence Corcoran Financial Post | 16/09/13 7:59 PM ET

As climate models and economics founder, both the politics and science of climate change are on the ropes at UN and across the globe

This past week, a number of these stories written for news sources worldwide are asking the same question. If the models and predictions for global warming /climate change are out of sync with reality, what are we mitigating and adapting for? Here is an excerpt from this article.

No matter what side of the debate one is on, there is no denying that the actual global temperature record for the last 15 or more years shows no sign of warming. Guelph University’s Ross McKitrick reviews the graphic evidence. The record clearly has fallen outside the prediction bounds produced by a succession of IPCC computer climate models back to 1990. The record points to big trouble for the IPCC and the whole climate theory. “Something big is about to happen,” says Prof. McKitrick. “Models predict one thing and the data show another. The various attempts in recent years to patch over the difference are disintegrating. Over the next few years, either there is going to be a sudden, rapid warming that shoots temperatures up to where the models say they should be, or the mainstream climate modeling paradigm is going to fall apart.”

Mothers Chat with Energy Minister Chiarelli

DSCN0760It was field day for Mothers Against Wind Turbines and the destination today was Babcock and Wilcox Nuclear Manufacturing Facility in Cambridge.

Energy Minister Bob Chiarelli was also at the facility and was available to speak to the Mothers and address their many concerns. Issues discussed included health, noise decibel levels, improper siting, financial and economic impact on Ontario, wind company contracts in  addition to how it infuriates  rural Ontario that the Liberals are appealing the Ostrander point decision.

Minister Chiarelli showed himself to be an excellent example of a Liberal “listener” but only time will tell if he follows company policy and refuses to hear. We Mothers made it clear that we are determined to protect our families, our children, and the best course of action for the minister and all Ontarians is to no longer support industrial wind facilities being built within our communities and province. Mr Chiarelli, although thoughtful and pleasant, continued to recite the usual Liberal propaganda and spin . Great job Mothers! Not only is it important to speak out for those whom our government now refuses to protect, but as always, to set an example for our children. And thanks to Bob Chiarelli who took ten minutes out of his busy day to speak with the Mothers. I hope your next stop later that day, touring the Canadian Solar Facility, was just as interesting and eventful.

Nigel Farage EU Parliment

Shows EU parliament “Inconvenient Truth” photos of the Arctic ice cap. Hey, I thought those ice caps were supposed to be gone forever this month. Gives them a bit of a lecture on global warming too.

PR Firm Enlisted to Convince Leaders to Ignore Public

Sheeooot. Ontario Liberals have obviously contracted this firm out long ago. Their PR strategy sure works for our ruling party and I am sure it will work just fine for other leaders. Just call ole Kathleen, she has a great strategy. “We were listening before but now we are listening even harder”. But pppssssstttt (we still can’t hear you so shut up).

Donna Laframboise's avatarBig Picture News, Informed Analysis

The UN’s Climate Secretariat will get free PR advice so it can inspire politicians to take action. But the UN’s own survey says the public ranks climate change last among 16 priorities.

I’ve observed previously that the public relations community plays a disturbing role in the climate change debate.

PR companies specialize in selling us things – ideas as well as tangible products. They’re guns-for-hire. Their job isn’t to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. They’re not interested in playing fair. Rather than encouraging debate, nuance, and independent thought, they push simple-minded sound bytes. They’re experts at blanketing the airwaves with a select point-of-view.

The fact that the board of the David Suzuki Foundation is chaired by the president of a PR firm tells us something about the David Suzuki empire.

The announcement, two days ago, that the UN’s Climate Secretariat will receive pro bono

National Review: Liberals in Retreat

By  John Fund   September 13, 2013 4:00 AM

Ontario Liberals beware!  The jig is up and our patience with your incompetence here in Ontario has worn out.     Time to pack up your mad, crazy ideologues and your useless “windmills” and move along to “greener” pastures.  California perhaps?  Here is an example of what is to come:

If the Colorado results showed the limits of liberal paternalism’s appeal, voters in prosperous Australia and Norway rebelled against liberal governments they perceived as incompetent and too focused on peripheral issues.
