Liberal Problem Solving

Liberals ARE the problem!

Highvoltage's avatarcosmoscon

If I had to describe Liberals in a concise manner it would go something like this – Liberals are a group of people who like to generate solutions in search of a problem.

The Liberal solutions are geared to furthering their agenda (creating a bigger government, soaking the wealthy, limiting freedom and moving us closer to Socialism) but any thinking person quickly realizes these solutions are geared to solve manufactured problems.

Obamacare will help people who can’t get insurance and lower the costs of insurance.  You know, so we can be more like Europe.

We had to pass the $787 billion stimulus in 2009 to keep the Unemployment Rate below 8%.

Ignoring the 2nd Amendment and limiting gun ownership will reduce gun violence.

Raising taxes on the wealthy will end the class warfare and lower our deficit.

Increasing Welfare spending will reduce the poverty…

Wind turbine projects should be cancelled in the same manner as power plants in the Greater Toronto Area, according to Shelburne Mayor Ed Crewson.

At county council on Thursday (Sept. 12), Crewson urged his fellow councillors to support a motion asking Premier Kathleen Wynne to cancel wind projects still in the development stage and reimburse investors.

His motion, which will appear on the county’s next council agenda, follows an announcement from the province that wind farm operators will be paid to not generate electricity.

“Someone’s got to say ‘This has got to stop’,” Crewson said. “This is not viable. It is not sustainable.”

Since 2006, Ontario has generated a surplus of electricity and wind farm operators were paid for power regardless of need.

As of Sept. 11, when supply exceeds demand, wind farm operators will be paid a reduced rate to cease generating power.

Crewson questions why the province is…

Hardeman and Wynne faceoff on rural funding after it’s earmarked for GTA bakeries

Heather Rivers — Woodstock Sentinel-Review — September 17,  2013

If it’s supposed to be rural funding why has it ended up in the GTA?

That’s the question Oxford MPP and agriculture critic Ernie Hardeman said he asked Premier Kathleen Wynne, who is also Minister of Agriculture and Food, during question period Monday.

Hardeman said he wants to know why she earmarked funds from the Rural Economic Development (RED) Program to four bakery businesses operating as a consortium located in Toronto, Markham and Woodbridge.

“My first question was how she justifies spending this money earmarked for rural Ontario in downtown Toronto,” Hardeman said Tuesday.

He said Wynne seemed to not understand the fund was “to give a leg-up to develop smaller town’s economies.”

The funds, officially announced by Wynne on September 13, will be used to help create…

UN has hidden research that shows that nature, not humanity, controls the climate (SHOCKER!!)

Investigate Daily — September 18, 2013

OTTAWA, Sept. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ – “As the science promoted by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) falls into disrepute, reporters face a difficult decision,” said Tom Harris, executive director of the Ottawa, Canada-based International Climate Science Coalition (ICSC). “Should they cover IPCC reports, the next of which will be issued on September 27(th), as if there were no other reputable points of view? Or should they also seek out climate experts who disagree with the UN’s view that we will soon face a human-induced climate crisis?

“With today’s release of Climate Change Reconsidered II: Physical Science (CCR-II – see http://climatechangereconsidered.org/, a 1,200 page report of the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC), it is now much easier for media to adopt the second more balanced approached,” continued Harris. “Co-authored and co-edited by Dr. Craig Idso, Professor Robert Carter, and…

Wind Turbines Cause Property Values to Plummet; Wind Wise Massachusetts Claims Study Showing Otherwise is Misleading

The windweasels go out of their way to hide any information that looks “bad”!

PR Newswire

FALMOUTH, Mass., Sept. 16, 2013

A national study that claims there is “no statistical evidence” that real estate prices near wind turbines are negatively impacted is misleading because it lumps homes close to the turbines with those miles away, according to Wind Wise Massachusetts (WWMA).

“The report’s own data found that homes located within one mile to the turbines decreased in value by 28 percent compared to homes located within 3 to 10 miles from the turbines,” according to Virginia Irvine, president of WWMA (windwisema.org), a statewide alliance of grassroots environmental groups and individuals.

“The study’s authors are just perpetuating the myth that wind turbines are not responsible for significant property losses,” she said.

“The report is also comparing apples with oranges as less than 2.5 percent of the more than 50,000 home sales analyzed in recently released Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory study were within one mile of…

Quebec Liberal Headquarters Raided By Anti-corruption Unit

The Canadian Press Posted: Sep 17, 2013 6:44 AM ET|

Wellllll. Liberal offices raided by anti-corruption unit hey? When this UPAC unit finishes cleaning up the corruption mess in Quebec, I wonder if they would mind having a little look-see over here in Ontario.

More than 100 people have been arrested on corruption-related charges since the Quebec scandals erupted several years ago, including figures from municipal politics and the construction industry.

A number of those arrests have been preceded by raids.

MPP Walker Tells Liberals “No Means No”

We need to push the politicians to end this scam, and repair the damage they’ve already done!

Esther Wrightman's avatarOntario Wind Resistance

We said NOMeaford Independent
The first week of the fall session of the Ontario legislature began with Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker pushing local issues to the forefront of debate at Queen’s Park.

Walker’s first Statement before his fellow MPPs in the Legislature was a call on the Liberal government to respect rural Ontario’s veto vote against wind turbines. He urged Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne to honour her promise and allow a moratorium in communities that have declared themselves as unwilling hosts to wind farms. In the case of Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, that would mean no wind farms anywhere in Grey and Bruce counties.

“The residents and municipal leaders in my riding share a mutual understanding that wind turbines have a negative impact on the residents’ health and the economic well-being of their communities,” he said. “This Premier explicitly promised she would not impose any wind project on any community that did not…
