CTVNewsLondon Rally Shuts Down 402
Stop lying to our children…..
This is way over the top!
It’s not right for our tax dollars to be used to spout propaganda and complete misinformation about our failed energy sector to us adults but when a McWynnty-backed monstrosity like the OPA starts to spread the Green Fraud on our children then enough is enough!
This is unforgivable and unacceptable! Notice the very first reference on the following website is the disgraced “Suzuki Foundation” who is about as bad as it gets for publishing the Green Insanity in ever increasing portions of ludicrous and false claims which should never be allowed in the public arena!
To try and squeeze this tripe into our children’s lives smacks of CHILD ABUSE and this is a call for all families to BOYCOTT this website, inform your children that this should be banned from viewing and actually report this information as “dangerous and harmful”!
It’s bad enough what…

FOREST – From pickups to tractors and manure wagons, nearly 200 vehicles blocked off a 30-kilometre stretch of Hwy. 402 Saturday.
In what is believed to be one of the largest demonstrations against wind turbines in rural Ontario, the eastbound lanes of the freeway were shut down from Hwy. 21 near Forest to Centre Rd. at Strathroy
“Premier Wynne, you will learn we are a tough crowd when we are pissed off,” activist firebrand Esther Wrightman of Kerwood told a rally of about 300 participants afterward.
“Ms Wynne, we will not be bullied and terrorized any more,” Wrightman told a crowd that drew participants from Niagara Region, Grey County, Haldimand, Chatham-Kent and elsewhere.
Conservative MPPs Monte McNaughton, Bob Bailey, Lisa Thompson and Lisa McLeod told the protesters their party would dismantle the Green Energy Act, which has helped kill 300,000 jobs in the province, they said.
OPP closed access to the major artery and provided an escort for the rolling protest that stretched as far as the eye could see.
The demonstration started about 10 a.m. and took more than two hours to reach Centre Rd. and a closing rally beside the Gemini Sportsplex.
Neil Switzer, a member of a Niagara Region group opposed to wind turbines, said the protest “is very encouraging because it brings people together from all over the province”
“And this is also a show of support for Esther Wrightman,” he said.
He said he has been fighting turbines for three years and is most concerned about how government won’t listen to reason and keeps promoting wind energy.

As far as the eye could see…..over 30 kilometres of Tractors, Vans, Cars, Trailers and Pickups shutdown highway 402 delivering a message to Kathleen Wynne and her Turbines! It was raining and chilly….but that didn’t stop the Protestors who decked out their cars with messages including “Children Suffering” and “Ontario is a Dictatorship”.
People united from as far as the Niagara Region to Kindardine in a show of solidarity in the fight against this corrupt liberal government. Police were out in full force to ensure the protestors stayed in line. The procession took off right at 10am as planned and shut the highway down for over 3 hours! The Mothers Against Wind Turbines attended the rally in convoy, with Eagles, Bats and Turbines all decorating the vehicles.
At the end of the line, speakers came out and talked in the rain to the crowd of anti-wind warriors. Speakers included Esther Wrightman, MPP Lisa Thompson, MPP Lisa McLeod and Local Mayors; all of which focused on the truths of democracy, soaring energy poverty and human rights issues in Ontario. The only Liberal in attendance was some “lackey” who was of no significant importance. Talks concluded with a rendition of “Blowing in the wind” which the crowd all sang together.
Will Wynne listen, or will our message blow with the wind? Only time will tell….

Campaigners for and against wind turbines and solar energy came face to face during separate demonstrations on Truro’s Lemon Quay.
Residents from across Cornwall, including members of the Green Party and Friends of the Earth, turned out carrying placards carrying anti and pro renewable energy messages.
Those joining the rally against such schemes claimed they were ruining the county’s unique landscape.
They argued turbines, many hundreds of metres tall, were too noisy and had a detrimental impact on people living nearby. Others claimed solar farms took up too much land.
St Endellion residents joined the demonstration upset at a 25,000 solar panel 40 acre scheme at Treswarrow Farm in Port Isaac, close to the Grade 1 English Heritage listed St Endellion Church.
Farmer, Mark Symons, of Trevanthon Farm, St Endellion and St Endellion Parish Council voted against the plans because of the loss of agricultural land.
Clean Earth Energy Limited (CEE), which submitted the application says it will provide a community fund of £6,000 per year for the 20 years; worth £120,000 in total, that the solar farm is expected to operate. A committee will be established to distribute the fund annually, to worthy causes within the local community.
Also on the Lemon Quay were campaigners bearing leaflets saying ‘ Please in my Back Yard’. They arrived in force to back renewable technology, which Chris Jones, of Ladock and Grampound Road Transition Group, said was long overdue.
Speaking at the end of this morning’s rally he said: “We are here to hand out cake and to gage peoples’ views on renewable energy.
“Cornwall needs to dramatically reduce its Co2 emissions. Cornwall needs to own the renewable energy we produce here.”
He also gave his support to Cornwall Council’s project to look at installing solar farms on its own land, including a site near Newquay airport.
The group’s campaign leaflet stated: “The tide of history is sweeping away the dirty and increasingly expensive energy sources of the past…Fracking is a sign that cheap and easy-to-get fossil fuels are no longer available..Wind and solar solutions are providing increasing energy security for future generations.”

Research links aircraft noise to higher rates of heart disease
The Sydney Morning Herald
11 October 2013
Amy Corderoy, Rachel Browne
Exposure to high levels of aircraft noise could put people at risk of developing heart disease and stroke, research has found.
The results underline the sensitivity around choosing the site for Sydney’s second airport, after the Abbott government indicated it would nominate Badgerys Creek.
The study of more than 3.6 million London residents has found those living in areas under flight paths that were most exposed to noise were up to 24 per cent more likely to be admitted to hospital from a stroke than people living in the quietest areas.
Experts say the stress caused by the loud plane noise could trigger a damaging nervous system response, causing the blood pressure and heart rate of people who are exposed to increase.
Planners must begin taking potential health risks…

Opponents of rural wind farms in Ontario plan to block traffic on major provincial highway Saturday.
Organizers are urging protesters to slow traffic to a crawl on Highway 402, east of Sarnia.
They want to get the attention of Premier Kathleen Wynne. They claim she is ignoring health and property value concerns allegedly caused by wind turbines.
Organizer Muriel Allingham hopes to see hundreds turn out for the procession of tractors and farm machinery.
The website for Ontario Wind Resistance is promoting the rally, called Ontario is Not a Willing Host Rally.
“Ensure that your vehicle is capable of travelling at 20 km/hr,” the site reads.
Allingham said police are cooperating.
“We have been working with the OPP liaison team to make sure this is a safe and enjoyable…
