[In addition to, or instead of, watching the video referenced below, you can read  a newspaper story on the victim’s statements at http://tinyurl.com/k9qkmcb .]

In March, 2013 the Canadian Auto Workers Union began operating a single wind turbine on its property at Port Elgin in the town of Saugeen Shores, ignoring the concerns of families living in homes nearby.

The CAW  wind turbine is much smaller than those installed elsewhere in Ontario (capacity of 500 KW vs 2 MW), but is not subject to a minimum setback distance due to its being operated at a noise level slightly below the threshhold specified by the GEA.  As a result, more than 100 homes are situated inside the normal 550 m minimum setback distance.

Five families living between 350 m and 2 km of the turbine made deputations to Saugeen Shores Council on August 26, 2013.  Their reports of medical symptoms and loss of enjoyment were so credible and compelling that Council voted to request that the CAW shut down the turbine.

Wind Turbines: 39,000,000 Dead Birds and Bats Per Year in USA

24 hr. surveillance cameras needed to monitor bird and bat deaths.

Environmentalists are Evil.

“As Paul Driessen, Mark Duchamp and others have concluded, based on careful bird and bat mortality studies in Spain and Germany, it is highly likely that the 40,000 US wind turbines are killing between 13 and 39 million birds and bats every year – including hundreds of bald and golden eagles, thousands of hawks, falcons, owls and other raptors, and dozens of extremely rare whooping cranes!”

Ontario power fee sets new record

Outright theft of our dollars!!!

The global adjustment — a fee added to the market price of electricity in Ontario — has reached a record high

The price of power for many Ontario households and businesses has spurted higher as the “global adjustment’ – an extra fee tacked onto the market price – has jumped to a record high.

The market price for electricity in Ontario Tuesday was about 2.5 cents a kilowatt hour. But the global adjustment for September will add another 8.72 cents to the market price for customers who aren’t covered by the province’s regulated price plan.

Those prices are just for the energy portion of the hydro bill; delivery and debt retirement charges are in addition to that.

The global adjustment…

Wind project developer met with protest in Cavan Monaghan

Wind weasels NOT WELCOME HERE!!!

Esther Wrightman's avatarOntario Wind Resistance

Peterborough this Week
MILLBROOK — Met by an angry crowd and a team of disapproving Cavan Monaghan Township councillors, the developer of a proposed wind farm was sent a clear message on Tuesday (Sept. 3).

In town to make a delegation to the Township regarding a five-turbine wind farm that would overlook the Devil’s Elbow skill hill area and a new subdivision, developer Martin Ince needed a police escort to help him get past nearly 200 people blocking the doors to the building. Inside, councillors voted to set aside $500,000 from lottery reserves in case the Township ends up in court over the issue.

While the Township has identified itself as an unwilling host for a wind farm, the Feed in Tariff (FIT) agreement for the Stoneboat Community Wind Farm project doesn’t need municipal approval. Mr. Ince acquired the FIT contract from the group behind the Whispering Winds wind farm…

Chiarelli avoids answering tough question (from a 7 year old)

Chiarelli should burn in Hell, for lying to this child. He does not care if he harms her.

letter

When Clara is asked to answer a question in school, she does.

When Clara asks the Energy Minister to answer a question (late last year)…. well, he doesn’t, and then he quits. Then the next Energy Minister doesn’t…and when it is sent to him via hand delivery from his Deputy Minister, he finally responds… but doesn’t answer the question.

As Clara’s older brother would say, Min. Chiarelli, this letter is an “epic FAIL“. Really, “Thank you for your interest in clean energy”?? Bob, thirty-seven wind turbines were just approved to surround this kid’s home and school. Whether you realize it or not, your letter just told her that you don’t like people, cows and birds… that’s why your government is pushing these machines on us and our environment. Otherwise you would have answered her question with a simple “yes”.

Ontario’s Energy Sector has been “hijacked for profit” by “very insidious players”?

We need a public inquiry into this scam, and the sooner, the better!

thebiggreenlie's avatarThe Big Green Lie

When placed under public scrutiny and when research by honest people dig deep inside what has become a “complete disaster”, our own Electrical Sector, a very disturbing picture starts to develop.

The Green Energy sector in Ontario will make the Gas Plant Scandal look like “child’s play” when and if there is ever a “public accounting of the mismanagement and virtual destruction of our electrical supply”.

Here are some very serious revelations as to who is actually pilfering massive amounts of money out of Ontario electrical consumers pockets!

Behind the Green Door, or, a union and the Ontario government–strange bedfellows?

The Ottawa Citizen recently reported on the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) meetings in Ottawa August 18-23 and in particular the fact that 62 municipalities had declared themselves “unwilling hosts” to industrial wind turbines.
Those 62 communities (now 65) were simply taking Premier Wynne at her word based…

Lorry carrying €1.5m wind turbine crashes in Donegal

The incident happened in the remote townland of Loughnagurragh, between the villages of Ardara and Glenties.

GREG HARKIN – 03 SEPTEMBER 2013

A RECOVERY operation is underway after a lorry carrying €1.5m wind turbine left a rural road in Co Donegal today.

The 64-metre long turbine was being taken to a controversial wind farm at Loughderryduff to replace one which snapped and fell there in March.

The collapse of the turbine six months ago is still being investigated by the company which owns the site North West Wind Limited and the Danish makers of the turbines Vestas.

The turbines are supposed to have a lifespan of 25 years but the one which fell over during moderate weather had only been in place for just over four years.

Gardai say the road between Maas and Ardara is currently closed whilst cranes attempt to remove the lorry and its load from the field.

No-one from the wind farm company was available for comment.  See Original Article Here:http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/lorry-carrying-15m-wind-turbine-crashes-in-donegal-29548073.html

Protesters want turbine in Port Elgin shut down

Great day in Port Elgin.

There weren’t enough wind turbine protesters Monday to set a new Guinness World Record, but event organizer Greg Schmalz said that wasn’t really the point anyway. “The intent was to bring publicity to the issue,” he said in an interview as the event was wrapping up at Gobles Grove Beach in Port Elgin.

Members of the Saugeen Turbine Operation Policy (STOP) had advertised the two-hour protest against the Canadian Auto Workers’ Union wind turbine as an attempt to break a Guinness record. But the 291 people who attended fell short of the 501 needed to beat the record for most people forming a letter. The group chose the letter H for help. Schmalz said the record attempt was seen as a good way to attract people and the media to the rally. “We wanted to get as much exposure as possible,” he said.

Turbine Protest Hits the Beach

As long as we allow the windweasels to be their own quality control….we will get no honest results.

Esther Wrightman's avatarOntario Wind Resistance

port_elgin_beachBayshore Broadcasting
(Port Elgin) – Activists against wind turbines are looking to raise awareness and set a Guinness World record while they’re at it. The Saugeen Turbine Operation Policy is organizing a rally Monday on the beach in Port Elgin to raise awareness of health issues from industrial wind turbines.

STOP spokesperson Greg Schmalz says activists from all across rural Ontario will stand shoulder to shoulder and spell the word “HELP” in the hopes of setting a Guinness World Record. Schmalz says the goal of the event is to send a message to all levels of government that the STOP group needs to study the health effects of industrial wind turbines.

He says the application is in and aircrafts have been hired to record the event from the air in video and still photo formats. One of the main turbines in question is the one operated by the CAW in…
