Ryerson Wind Turbines Coming Down

Renewable Energy Approval Revoked: 

EBR 013-1940 

wind tech 2Ryerson University has decided to decommission all 6 wind turbines in its Wind Tech research project.  In 2009 the  project was awarded 729, 771 from the Canada Foundation for Innovation. The rest of the 1.8 million in project funding coming from the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation, Ryerson and the Canadian industry.

  1. This is awesome! But why are they coming down – that is the most important part to me.

  2. This article misleading, if you read the full article it says there is a solution and it involves making wind turbines work together. This is the last thing we need for some to run all the time and some very little. They need to come down, all of them.
