Ontario School system advocates “racing to the bottom” as their mantra for 2030!!!

We are going to have to make sure our kids learn all they need to know. The school will not be doing it.

If you have a child born this year here is the vision of the future for your newborn when they graduate or “leave” High School in 2030.

These “brilliant (NOT)” ideas are being brought to you by a so-called “think tank of scholars and education experts” this week in Waterloo and is being supported with YOUR tax dollars, so of course it must be true!

Here’s the vision……………..don’t separate students into “grades” or even force them to be “examined” throughout their “higher education” years so they don’t feel pressured with REAL LIFE trials and tribulations.

After all, with all the tech gadgets and computers able to do the work of critical thinking today, why burden young minds with mundane trivialities like adding, subtracting and spelling?

The future it seems will allow these unfettered graduates to build homes, repair vehicles, order materials, count money, or any other real life task without…

  1. Maybe the real problem is that there are too many people with PhDs in education and these people don’t teach grades K-12 but live in academic towers in universities. So they don’t have any idea as to what the real education world is like.

  2. Solar panel POWER PLANTS are being installed on Ontario school roof tops where children as young as age 4 are present.
Bet most parents don’t stop to think just how much voltage there is right over the classrooms where their children are.
All they think about is that the power being generated brings money to the school district and they won’t get their property taxes increased but the same parents would object to sending their children to a school right next to conventional power plant that generates high voltages.
Is this worth the risk where schools have to be as fire as possible or ok just because this is “green” energy that safety dosen’t matter when it comes to “green” energy?

“Solar panels potential hazard to firefighters”

“Cooke said the only safe water stream they can use fighting solar panel fires is fog, which restricts reach. They are not allowed to use foam, either.”

What about fire insurance issues for school buildings or dosen’t that matter now either?

Fires other than in the solar panels themselves in buildings also create hazards for the solar panels.
There is plenty of information on this subject online.
    Child safety dosen’t matter either.

  4. They don’t care about our kids, any more than they care about us. Our children will attend school surrounded by 4, 600 + ft. , 3MW, within 2km…..and far more outside of that radius. Then come home, to more of the same. Disgusting.

    1. Chev,
Solar panel fire safety issues information should be well circulated in Ontario. This information has been ignored by school boards.
Anything that might even cause a school fire has been baned for years from schools.
And the Ontario Fire Marshal knows about these solar panel fire issues.. A fire dosen’t even have to be in the solar panels themselves to create danger from the solar panels.

      1. For some reason, simply calling something, “green”, seems to exempt it from any safety regulations whatsoever. It is a farce, and we are paying the price, in more ways than one!
