At the present time this could be more than just a government screw-up considering the amount of money involved in this project.
Fluor had to “eat” $400 M in a UK offshore project due to foundation problems and if they had to do the same with the parkway project that would really hurt.
It’s the consortium companies that would take the loss and they don’t want to take any loses.
Get around this by changing the regulations. Also known as MITIGATION?
Acconia is part of this consortium building the Parkway.
Is this consortium also going to build the new bridge across the Detroit river?
