Fossil fuel generating plants will be shutdown under the ruse of requiring carbon capture and storage to continue running them or to build new ones.this includes coal and natural gas generating plants.
Carbon capture and storage might be possible to do on a small scale but is not possible/feasable to do on a large scale but the gneneral public dosen’t know this.
Just because something is possible to do in theory or on a small scale dosen’t mean the same thing can be done on large scale.
This then is one means of getting rid of conventional generating and replacing that generation with wind and solar.
Nuclear power can be gotten rid of by making people afraid of nuclear power.
