Liberals overstay their welcome….by about 10 years!
At the advent of the five (5) by-elections in Ontario and as we close in on the 10th anniversary of the current Liberal’s tenure as the governing party in Ontario it is time to look back on their management of the “Energy” portfolio. It is particularly appropriate to examine their past as the energy issue is bound to be on voter’s minds. Additionally, the current Minister of Energy, Bob Chiarelli, has embarked on what he refers to as a “review” of the Long-Term Energy Plan (LTEP) which was never a “plan”! When the LTEP was released in the fall of 2010 by Energy Minister, Brad Duguid it was to be a “guide” to the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) so that they could produce IPSP II. The original IPSP (Integrated Power System Plan) was thrown to the curb by George Smitherman when he held this portfolio and Chiarelli’s predecessor, Chris Bentley…

As long as there are people who believe that the world can be powered by wind and solar and who are willing to pay for this then this situation will continue.
Germany even built an offshore wind project in a WWII munitions dump and then can’t lay and connect up the transmission line until munitions are cleared off the sea floor. But the people of Germany are still willing to pay for this kind of folly.
This is the kind of mindset that rural Ontarians are dealing with right here at home.

Has map and how delayed action bombs work.
Would be a real shame to have little bits of windweasel floating all over the North and Baltic Seas….
Even the German people are beginning to realize that this was not as good a plan, as they originally thought. Public support is waning. As is belief in the global warming scam.

“End of Atomic Age Seen as Merkel’s Biggest Headache Now”
The following is what we hear from QP all the time:
“While there won’t be any retroactive changes to the support regime, ‘there’s a lot of talk to move away from subsidized rates, called feed-in tariffs, for new projects ‘to a more market-based system’ to reduce costs, …”

Directions for this flim-flan in Ontario still coming from Europe? Just waited for the German election to be over?
No more free ride for the windweasels…..gee, that’s a shame! Wind is just another energy source, no more favoritism. Well that’s a start!
“10 Years Of Mismanagement” is a fine example of what citizens can do when needed!!!
All work that should have been done by their elected representatives.
Yep! Problem is….if we waited for them to help us, we would be doomed!
